Sky Mobile is a UK MVNO operated by Sky (now owned by Comcast) that runs on the O2 network. Sky Mobile stands out for its unique 'Piggybank' data feature, which lets unused data roll over for up to three years. It also offers 5G on compatible devices and plans, making it one of the few O2-based MVNOs with 5G support. Sky Mobile's APN — skydata.skymobile.co.uk — requires no authentication credentials. Sky Mobile SIMs are distributed primarily to existing Sky TV and broadband customers, though the network is available to anyone. If you've moved to Sky Mobile from another carrier or switched to a new phone, you'll likely need to enter these APN settings manually.

Sky Mobile APN Troubleshooting

Remove and reinsert your SIM. Check your Sky Mobile account app for any pending configuration messages. If on Samsung, use Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm APN is selected and mobile data is on. The APN must be exactly skydata.skymobile.co.uk. Check your Sky Mobile account is active and data allowance hasn't been exhausted. No username or password is required for Sky Mobile.
Sky Mobile uses its own MMSC at http://mms.sky.co.uk — not the standard O2 MMSC. Make sure this exact URL is in your MMSC field. Proxy should be 82.132.254.1 and port 8080.
Contact Sky Mobile and ask them to disable OTA configuration. You can reach Sky Mobile support through the Sky Mobile app or the Sky website.
Check MCC 234 and MNC 10. Sky Mobile uses O2's network identifiers. Verify Protocol is set to IPv4/IPv6 for best compatibility.
