Three Mobile APN Settings for UK
Last verified: July 2025
Three Mobile (stylised as 3) is one of the UK's four main mobile networks and is known for its competitive data plans and strong 5G rollout. Three is owned by CK Hutchison Holdings and merged its network with Vodafone UK in 2024. Three's APN — three.co.uk — is clean and simple, requiring no authentication credentials. A notable Three quirk: the MMS Proxy is a hostname (mms.three.co.uk) rather than an IP address — enter it exactly as shown. Three also uses MMS port 8799 rather than the more common 8080. These settings apply to all Three contracts, SIM-only plans, and pay-as-you-go SIMs.
